What Are The Best Ezoic Compatible Hosts?

Why change host for Ezoic?

As my websites are growing, I am finding myself in front of technical issues using Ezoic, such as getting request errors, due to the fact that I get too much traffic for shared hosting and cannot configure what is necessary to allow Ezoic system to perform as best as it can, as my hosts are not Ezoic compatible hosts and do not let me configure correctly my websites.

Therefore, I am looking for the best private server on which Ezoic will perform best, as the list of compatible hosts and CDNs is available on their website.

Technology & Infrastructure Compatible With Ezoic

The first question being, which option to choose instead of shared hosting? I have at the moment 3 different shared hostings, one at  EX2 hosting   in France, one in USA at Bluehost, and one in USA at Interserver.

All of them are giving me the same issue: they cannot disable the Immunify 360 captcha for my websites only, as it is a shared hosting, and I cannot activate the full Site Speed Accelerator Ezoic caching system, as my shared hosting gets all requests from Ezoic CDN, offers to solve an anti-bot captcha, captcha that gets cached by Ezoic that cannot differentiate it from my own web pages, and the user cannot solve the captcha as it is cached.

Therefore, time to move on! But the first question is, what to use? A VPS server, a dedicated server in USA or a Cloud server?

First, let's check whats the difference - and then let's see what the Ezoic compatible hosts are currently offering before making a final choice.

Shared, VPS, dedicated and Cloud - what is the difference?

Let's start with definitions, and understand what is at stake in that decision.

What is shared hosting?
Shared hosting means that your account on a Web server is shared with other accounts on the same server, and you are sharing the server resources together. The server has a single IP address and if any site on any account of the server gets banned or reported as spam somewhere, all sites on that server including yours will get the same treatment. It is the cheapest hosting option. Also, if any account uses too many resources and gets the server to overload or stop, your account will suffer the same consequences.
What is VPS hosting?
VPS stands for Virtual Private Server and means that like shared hosting, you are sharing a server with other people, but the resources available are dedicated to your account. Other accounts have no incidence on yours, and unless the whole server crashes, other websites troubles won't impact you. You can get a  dedicated IP   address but that is not always the case. You get all the customization of a dedicated hosting, but share the server and get less resources.
What is Cloud hosting?
Cloud hosting is similar to VPS hosting but instead of sharing one server, your virtual server is hosted on the Cloud, meaning that you are sharing resources from the whole Cloud with other people, and can technically easily scale resources needed for your websites. It might not be as fast as your own dedicated server.
What is dedicated hosting?
Dedicated hosting is considered to be the best form of web hosting for security and performance, as you get a whole server for yourself and your websites only. You have full access to the configuration, and get your own IP address. It might easily be the most expensive type of web hosting, but is the preferred solution for many webmasters.

Now, let's compare these options among each other to understand how they are connected or different.

Shared hosting vs VPS
Both options share the same server with different accounts, but on shared hosting the server resources are used by all accounts, while with a Virtual Private Server you get dedicated server resources that cannot be used by other accounts. VPS is more expensive than shared hosting, but more secure and customizable.
VPS or dedicated server
On Virtual Private Server you get a part of a dedicated server resources, and you share the server with other accounts. A dedicated server is fully for your use only. Dedicated servers are more expensive, more secure and more customizable than VPS.
Cloud hosting or dedicated server
Cloud hosting shares and distribute resources from various servers, which might mean a more difficult architecture to manage. A dedicated server is more simple to manage, and is typically considered more secure than Cloud hosting, but Cloud hosting can scale up or down based on your needs.
Shared hosting vs VPS vs dedicated server
A shared hosting is a good solution for small content websites, while VPS is better suited to serve successful or business websites, and a dedicated server is the best chance to run a successful web-based business.

Now that we have seen the different types of hosting, let's compare the options available that are Ezoic compatible hosts and which are the cheapest ones, and that won't lead to below error for the dedicated options.

By selecting the right server to host the webpages, problems such as Ezoic origin errors as shown below, due to a server too slow to handle the requests volume, will not happen anymore – and, by actually taking full advantage of the EzoicLEAP service and their CDN, the amount of server resources necessary to run your websites will be drastically lowered down.

In our case, switching from various hostings, 3 shared and 1 Cloud hosting for a total of 21 websites hosted, to a single shared and compatible Ezoic hosting with the amazing Interserver, only a cheap shared hosting is necessary to handle more than 400 000 unique visitors per month!

Comparing the best and cheapest Ezoic compatible shared hosting

The cheapest solution to host your website always is to use shared hosting, however, you will be limited technically and might not let your websites reach their full potential.

Based on our own tests, the  best cheap web hosting   compatible with Ezoic is Interserver, and we had no issue working them since more than 2 years, with a price as low as $3 per month on shared hosting.

Comparing the best and cheapest Ezoic compatible VPS hosting

The cheapest VPS offers usually are unmanaged, meaning that the hosting comes with no software installed and no cPanel or other similar server management software - this option comes with an additional cost.

However, a  dedicated IP   address typically is included in the deal.

  1. Hostinger cheapest VPS: $9.95/month ($3.95 with a 48 months contract, renews at $8.16), 1 CPU core, 1GB RAM, 20GB SSD, 1TB bandwidth

Now, let's have a look at the Cloud hosting solutions, which are generally very similar in terms of configuration than a VPS hosting.

Comparing the best and cheapest Ezoic compatible Cloud hosting

As for VPS hosting, the cheapest and standard Cloud hostings are unmanaged, meaning that there will be no interface administration or any software installed, such as the cPanel you might be used to.

Also, they generally come up with 1  dedicated IP   address.

  1. Hostinger Cloud hosting: $29/month ($9.99 with a 48 months contract, renews at $18.99), 2 CPU cores, 100GB SSD, unlimited bandwith

Again, the cheapest options are unmanaged dedicated hosting, and there will be no cPanel administration interface installed, nor any other software.
