ASUS notebooks are popular among a large number of users for a reason — ZenBook combines a stylish, ergonomic appearance and good performance. The laptops are equipped with Intel processors, which is already an indisputable advantage, and SSD drives instead of classic hard drives. Technology innovation - the new Number Pad. The case is made of metal. We can note a decent matrix and a comfortable keyboard.

Peculiarities

Each new ASUS laptop amazed people with its appearance - the devices look incredibly stylish and unusual. Many manufacturers try to make a product that looks similar. The new ZenBook pleasantly surprised people with its appearance.

It is part of the 5 best 13.3” Windows 11 compatible ultrabooks that you can get at the moment, and it is the highest rated for a simple reason: is the cheapest one, yet it has the same components as the most expensive ones! The only real drawback being a standard screen with a lower resolution than other similar laptops.

There are several variants of ZenBook: with a different amount of RAM (from 8 to 32GB) and internal memory up to 2TB, three processor options (i5-1035G1, i5-1135G7 or i7-1165G7), a classic screen and a screen The device is an incredible combination of compactness, style and solid performance thanks to the processor. Laptop complete set

The laptop is packed in a regular cardboard box with the Asus ZenBook logo. Inside, in addition to the ultrabook itself, there is a charger and an adapter type C to 3.5mm jack for connecting wired headphones. Also available with a laptop sleeve.

Design

In the new laptop, ASUS decided to follow the path of compactness, minimizing its size and weight as much as possible. As you've read, it's hard to believe that such a small laptop can be 13 '' - no bigger than a regular A4 sheet. Such a laptop can easily fit into a bag or backpack without taking up a lot of space. In addition, it does not add much weight to your bag, as it weighs only 1.07 kg. The laptop cover is made of metal, decorated with the classic Zen pattern, gold-plated ASUS logo. The laptop is almost completely made of metal.

Despite the fact that the laptop is very light - the case is quite sturdy - made of aluminum alloy. Dust and fingerprints remain on the metal, but they can be easily removed by simply wiping the laptop. The case looks solid and high quality. The screen does not bend and the lid is stable enough. On the left there are two charging ports, on the right a USB Gen 3.2 port and a memory card slot. There is no headphone jack, but this is solved by the fact that there is a type-c to jack3.5 adapter in the kit, using which you can connect your headset or other accessories. Also the adapter is used for the Internet cable. The laptop opens easily, you can open it with one hand. Conveniently protrudes the laptop lid, so you can pick it up with your finger and lift it. The maximum opening angle of the laptop is 150. Interestingly, when you open the laptop, the keyboard rises, which adds a couple of advantages: there is a natural air flow, it is more convenient to type on the keyboard and the speakers are heard better. Also on the bottom you can see rubber feet, which add stability to the device. The keyboard is very convenient for working on a laptop, it is equipped with backlighting with three levels of brightness. It may be inconvenient for someone to switch from a gaming keyboard to this one, but you can get used to it quickly enough, since it has decent qualities.

It is worth noting that it is possible to block the Fn key, which can be useful in many places. But still, the keyboard has drawbacks - the power button is inconveniently located - like many ASUS laptops, it is located on the top right along with all the other keys - because of this it often happens that it is pressed by mistake. But this drawback can be reconciled, given the overall comfort from the keyboard.

Screen

The laptop screen is not the brightest on the market, but this brightness is sufficient. The screen is completely covered with sRGB. The viewing angles are good, the colors are fairly accurate, the screen practically does not give glare. In the MyASUS application, you can adjust the color temperature of the screen, which is very convenient. Let's compare ASUS ZenBook 13 with others and identify its main advantages and disadvantages:

  • Incredibly stylish design
  • Nice keyboard and comfortable touchpad
  • Quite good performance
  • The laptop is practically silent
  • Based on the price, the screen does not match the bar
  • The webcam does not differ in quality, despite the presence of an IR sensor
  • Laptop performance is limited under high load

And now a small zenbook asus review

ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED is a compact and lightweight laptop with enough performance for office tasks, excellent battery life and a high-quality OLED screen. Moreover, if earlier such a display was the prerogative of flagship models with a corresponding price tag.

The laptop uses an Intel Core i5-1035G4 processor. It is a power-efficient quad-core, eight-thread processor based on the Sunny Cove architecture (Ice Lake U family) introduced in the first half of 2019. The base frequency is 1.2 GHz, with Turbo Boost mode for a single core can reach 3.7 GHz. That allows you to work quickly enough.
