As the year progresses, September has brought us some positive signs of growth, alongside strategic developments across various platforms. In this month's report, we'll dive into the numbers, the strategies we've employed, and the plans moving forward into October.
September has been an interesting month for us, with an increase in EPMV (Earnings per Thousand Visits) to $6.32, up from $4.62 in August. This surge in EPMV has translated into overall earnings of $193.91, an improvement from the previous month’s $133.29, despite a moderate rise in traffic.
Our digital platforms, including the websites and YouTube channels, have undergone consistent improvements as we've continued to focus on leveraging AI tools and participating in key industry events. The following sections provide a detailed breakdown of our performance and the strategic changes we’ve implemented this past month.
Website Performance
EPMV Growth and Earnings Breakdown
One of the most positive developments in September was the rise in EPMV from $4.62 in August to $6.32 in September. This jump is significant because, while our website traffic only grew from 28,867 visits in August to 30,669 in September, the higher EPMV indicates that each visit is now yielding more revenue. The reasons for this improvement can be attributed to enhanced ad optimization techniques we’ve employed, as well as a slight shift in audience demographics that has positively impacted ad impressions and engagements.
In terms of overall earnings, we earned $193.91 in September, a notable increase from $133.29 in August. The breakdown of these earnings per ad partner is as follows:
- Ezoic: $163.78 (up from $104.20 in August)
- AdSense mediation: $4.05 (slightly up from $3.76 in August)
- Premium ad partners: $26.09 (up from $25.34 in August)
This steady growth is promising, especially as we look to further optimize our websites for better ad performance. However, the improvement also reflects the strategic changes we've made in content development and user engagement.
Traffic Analysis: A Steady Increase
In September, website traffic increased to 30,669 visits, compared to 28,867 visits in August. While the rise in traffic was moderate, it nonetheless represents a continuation of the upward trend we’ve been seeing over the past few months. It’s worth noting that September is often a transition month with back-to-school events and the start of the final quarter for many industries. The higher EPMV during this period suggests that advertisers were more competitive, and we benefited from this shift.
Moving forward, our goal is to build on this steady traffic increase by expanding content and engaging with new user groups through targeted campaigns and partnerships, which we will explore in our plans for October.
Strategic Changes Implemented in September
Several significant initiatives were rolled out in September to enhance our content and engagement strategies. These changes have not only contributed to the rise in EPMV but have also positioned us for further growth in the coming months.
1. Leveraging AI for Business Course Creation
Throughout September, we continued to leverage AI tools to develop new business courses around SAP hot topics. This initiative is part of our broader plan to diversify our content offerings and create value for our audience. By identifying the most relevant and in-demand SAP topics, such as S/4 HANA Integration with Excel and SAP Fiori Tips for End Users, we’re able to create courses that meet the immediate needs of professionals seeking to enhance their SAP expertise.
2. Expanding YouTube Channels
Our YouTube channels, especially
continue to be key drivers of traffic and engagement. In September, we focused on growing both channels by producing more business and technology-related content. Additionally, our travel-focused YouTube channel, @wcanifly, has been gaining momentum, with more travel videos being uploaded and monetized via the Humix network.
By participating in the Humix network, not only do we monetize the videos on our own platforms, but we also benefit from exposure on other publishers’ websites. This gives us access to a larger audience, further amplifying our reach and revenue potential.
3. SAP Inside Track 2024 Conference
A major highlight of September was our participation in the SAP Inside Track 2024 conference in Warsaw.

Maximize revenue
As a speaker, we presented on the topic of Maximizing SAP Project Success Through Targeted User Training. This training is also available for free, in a more targetted version, on the training website, to help all project managers increasing their chance of project success.
The conference allowed us to establish key industry connections while promoting our SAP business courses. By showcasing our expertise in SAP project management and user training, we positioned ourselves as a trusted voice in the SAP community. The exposure gained from this event is expected to contribute to future course enrollments and consulting opportunities.
Revenue Share Model for Udemy Courses
In September, we continued to reap the benefits of the revenue share model we adopted for promoting our Udemy courses. As mentioned in previous reports, we switched from paying $65 per month for Udemy promotion to a revenue-sharing model where the marketing company takes 50% of the revenue they generate.
This switch has proven to be highly successful. Before we started working with the marketing company in March 2024, our Udemy courses generated little to no revenue. Since then, the model has delivered consistent results, with earnings increasing each month. In September, for example, our Udemy earnings reached $29.48, and in previous months, we recorded net earnings of $47.93 in July and $108.72 in June. These earnings have been crucial in supporting the growth of our business course portfolio and enabling further investment in content creation.
Specific Plans for October
Building on the successes of September, we have an exciting roadmap for October that will focus on further growth and diversification across our platforms. Some of the key initiatives planned include:
1. Continuing Business Course Development
We will continue to develop and promote our business courses, with a focus on localizing them in both French and Spanish. Upcoming courses include:
- PowerPoint 365: Slide Design and Beyond
- Impactful Presentations: Strategies for Success
- SAP Material Master Essentials (Parts 3 and 4)
- SAP Material Master Customizing (Part 1)
Additionally, we will leverage AI tools to create more courses on trending SAP topics, such as S/4 HANA Navigation and SAP Fiori Tips. These courses are designed to address the specific needs of SAP users and professionals looking to upgrade their skills.
2. YouTube Channel Growth
Our focus on YouTube will continue into October, with plans to grow both our business channels (@ybdotdigital and @yonumerique) and our travel channel (@wcanifly). Additionally, our new dogs channel (@dogsitterzlife) will receive more content as we explore niche opportunities for monetization. These efforts will also benefit from the Humix network, where we will monetize videos across multiple platforms.
3. Corporate Partnerships and MMC Reseller Status
In October, we will ramp up our efforts as an MMC official reseller of our corporate business courses. This status opens new opportunities for developing partnerships with corporations looking to train their teams in SAP, PowerPoint, and other critical business software. We will focus on creating content that attracts corporate clients and building a sales funnel that supports these efforts.
Final Thoughts
September was a month of growth and progress, with improvements across all key metrics—higher EPMV, increased overall earnings, and more website visits. Our participation in major industry events and continued investment in content creation has set the stage for future success. As we look forward to October, our focus will be on continuing these trends, building more partnerships, and expanding our reach through multiple channels, including YouTube, Udemy, and our corporate training offerings.
