CPanel get the host server IP address

When managing domain names, with different URLs at different hosts or providers, it might be necessary to get the server IP of the web hosting server to redirect a specific domain name (for example registered at Gandi.net or GoDaddy.com) to a different hosting (for example ex2 hosting).

Finding the server IP address like 192.168.1.1 with cPanel is quite easy.

Once logged on the administration interface – details on URL, user, password should be given by the host – go in General Information > Server information menu.

There, all server details will be accessible : server name, cPanel version, Apache version, PHP version, MySQL version, operation system (i.e. Linux / Windows / etc.), and the Shared IP Address – this is the IP to use when redirecting other services at other servers to that one.
