When you have a Google AdSense account, on which you earn money for the Google ads displayed on your site, you might want to change the payment threshold, in order to be paid more often – or less often.
To do so, first go on AdSense page and login with your account.
Then, on the left side menu, click on Payments
Payments menu in menu bar
Scroll down to the Settings section, and click on Manage settings
Manage settings options for payment
In the Payment account section, find the Payment schedule, and click on the edit button
Payment schedule edit option
Put there the requested values for threshold and schedule
Update of payment threshold and payment schedule
Click on save to validate the changes
Saving new payment threshold and payment schedule
And that’s it. This might help managing the accounting, by reducing the threshold when money is needed more often, or increasing it when it is not needed fast.
Additionally, by entering a payout schedule, it is possible to delay the payment up to one year from current date. This might allow for accounting to have the payment reaching the account at a defined date, for example before or after the beginning of a fiscal year, or a month-end closure.
