SAP find out which views are open for a material / article

Want to know which views are open in Material Master MM03 transaction for a material, and for which organization(s) : plant / storage location / warehouse number / storage type / sales organization / distribution channel / valuation area / valuation type ?

It is possible to do so by using SE16N, the table viewer.

First of all, go the SE16N transaction select table MARC Plant Data for Material, and enter some filter criteria to display your articles.

In the MARC – PSTAT Maintenance Status column, you’ll have details of all views opened.

For example, in above example, DALBSPQGEV means that the following views are opened at one organization level at least :

  • D : MRP,
  • A : Work Scheduling,
  • L : Storage,
  • B : Accounting,
  • S : Warehouse Management,
  • P : Forecasting,
  • Q : Quality Management,
  • G : Costing,
  • E : Purchasing,
  • V : Sales

To know for which organization(s) a specific view is open for a material, go to the MSTA Material Master Status table, in SE16N, and use the filters to select your materials, for example material in MATNR and view MRP with value D in STATM Maintenance Status field.

  • A : Work Scheduling,
  • B : Accounting,
  • C : Classification,
  • D : MRP,
  • E : Purchasing,
  • F : Production resources / tools,
  • G : Costing,
  • K : Basic data,
  • L : Storage,
  • P : Forecasting,
  • Q : Quality Management,
  • S : Warehouse Management,
  • V : Sales,
  • X : Plant stocks,
  • Z : Storage location stocks
